1. Acceptance of Terms

By registering for or using The Traders Yard, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

2. Who Can Use The Traders Yard

The Traders Yard is intended for professional tradespeople and businesses based in the United Kingdom. You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into contracts to use this platform.

3. Listings & Transactions

Sellers are responsible for the accuracy of their listings, including descriptions, condition, pricing, and photos. The Traders Yard acts as a marketplace only and is not a party to any transaction between buyers and sellers.

The Traders Yard charges zero seller fees. A buyer service fee (5% + £0.30) is added at checkout to cover payment processing and platform costs.

4. Prohibited Items

You may not list items that are illegal, counterfeit, stolen, or that you do not have the right to sell. Gas appliances must only be listed by Gas Safe registered engineers where applicable.

5. Account Suspension

The Traders Yard reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or post misleading content.

6. Limitation of Liability

The Traders Yard is provided on an "as is" basis. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. Our liability to you is limited to the fees you have paid to us in the 12 months preceding any claim.

7. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of The Traders Yard after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.
